A secretary needs to be on their “A” game all the time; they are the back bone of many
companies. Secretaries must have a system in place for everything they do, be it answering calls, responding to leads, organizing, setting appointments, or just reminding your ceo what is on his or agenda for the day. I find myself answering calls throughout the day and my priority is always to show the customer that they are what matters at the moment. Daily tasks come in second place when we are on the phone; there is no rushing; the customer is all that matters.
